LUMA is a small specialty coffee bar in Eixample serving carefully sourced coffee, simple seasonal food and freshly baked pastries in a calm, welcoming space.

Founded by Clara Vidal and Marc Serra, LUMA was built around one idea: a neighbourhood coffee bar doesn't need to shout to be worth visiting. It just needs to be good, every single day.

Our story

A neighbourhood coffee bar, made for coming back to.

We wanted to create a small place where good coffee didn't have to feel complicated. A place for a slow breakfast, a quick espresso at the bar, a laptop for an hour or a conversation with a friend.

“We don't want to be the loudest café in the neighbourhood. We want to be the place people come back to.”

Our coffee

Good coffee doesn't have to be complicated.

We work with small European roasters and rotate our beans throughout the year. We usually offer one classic espresso blend and one seasonal single-origin coffee.

We sell our current espresso blend and selected single-origin beans to take home — ask at the bar.
